Hi there! My name is Tilynn, and I specialize in portrait, family, and event photography. I believe that a photo should elicit an emotion, whether that be nostalgia, comfort, or that feeling of home and safety.
I have my degree in Psychology, and currently spend my days working with the provincial government writing public policy. I've always struggled to express myself, and was able to find that outlet in photography. Being able to capture the things that I find beautiful and show them to the people I find beautiful has been a great way for me to express strong feelings without using words.
When I take a photo, I aim for it to be an expression of your personal story, experiences and emotions. I want you to look at your photos and feel those things, and be able to look back at that photo and say "Remember when." I think the best expression of this for me is of the photo I've posted below. When I look at this photo I'm reminded of the family I've lost, new additions to my family, the farm I love, and the safety I feel when I'm there. That's what I want when you look at your photos, and I aim to do whatever I can to ensure that you are given an experience and a service that expresses this.
